this policy explains what efaimo collects, why, and the choices you have. it is written in plain language and will be finalized with counsel before launch, as noted above.

1. what we collect

the lines you write, the panels generated for your comic, your email if you join the waitlist, your chosen character, a per-device identifier, and basic technical data needed to run the service.

2. how we use it

to generate and show your comic, to keep the two of you in sync, to operate and secure the service, and to tell you about efaimo. we do not sell your personal data.

3. who can see your comic

a comic is private to the two people in it. we use access controls so one pair cannot read another pair's comic.

4. sharing and processors

we use a small number of service providers to run efaimo, for image generation, storage, and email. they process data on our behalf under contract, and we will name them here before launch.

5. retention

we keep your comic while your account is active. you can ask us to delete it, and we will.

6. your rights

depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your data. you can exercise them by contacting us.

7. security

secrets and keys are held server-side only, access to a comic is checked on every request, and data in transit is encrypted.

8. children

efaimo is not directed to children under the age set by local law.
